Suffixes

1. one syllable before the suffix
> - ic -------> classic , majestic

> - tion -----> impression, passion

> - ish ------> selfish , accomplish

2. Two syllable before the suffix

> - cy ---------> consistency

> - ty --------- > liberty

> - gy ---------> geology

> - phy --------> photography

> - fy ----------> specify

> - ian ---------> politician

> - ate ---------> separate

3. The syllable on suffix

> - ee

> - eer ------- > volunteer

> - ese --------> Japanese
